Corporate Social Responsibility is an integral part of FRANKI’s corporate strategy.
At FRANKI, responsibility means that we not only focus on the economic success of our business, but also on its impact on employees, society and the environment. The PORR Group's CSR strategy forms the foundation of our thinking and acting.
Intelligent construction means embracing responsibility.
As an international construction company, we build for generations and shape the world we live in – by and for people. A sustainable business approach is a key part of our responsibility towards society, at the same time as being the foundation of our success. The PORR strategy is based on the three-pillar model of sustainability. In PORR, the three areas are summarised under the terms economic, social and environmental.
The long-term success of the company is the basis of economic activity within PORR. The company is in constant exchange with its stakeholders and always keeps an eye on the long-term increase in company value. This strategy has shaped our sustainable success for 150 years.
Our success is largely due to the around 20,000 PORRians. For this reason, PORR values all employees and acts as a fair and cooperative employer. Occupational safety and health protection have the highest priority. In order to be prepared for future challenges, PORR relies on sustainable personnel development. It aims at diversity by promoting and implementing the potential of each and every employee.
The responsible use of ecological resources, a clear commitment to environmental protection and value-oriented action form an important pillar in our sustainability strategy. We demonstrate this by using environmentally friendly building materials and construction methods and constantly increasing the proportion of recycled building materials. The use of alternative drives and energies is intended to increase energy efficiency and reduce air pollutant emissions.
